Maintaining Magento 1 webshop

This fashion company based in Eindhoven has an extensive webshop in addition to three stores. The main reason to start working with the webshop was the expiring support of various components. For example, the webshop of 4ffWebshops B.V. is still running on the Magento 1 environment. For example, Magento 1 is no longer supported by the parent company Adobe.

Take over management by Vicus

When Vicus takes over a Magento webshop, we first do an extensive intake. We check everything and this results in a memo with points of attention. In consultation we decide what will be done with those points.

First, a trial migration was done to the Vicus environment. This has been tested afterwards. Vicus has indicated to 4ffWebshops B.V. to test the migration as well. When all was agreed the final migration was done by us. The site was live and the management is now in the hands of Vicus.

Proactive maintenance by Vicus

The existing installation has been transferred to the hosting of Vicus. By using the Servicedesk Magento 1 plus package, 4ffWebshops B.V. can continue to use the Magento 1 environment safely. Vicus continues to support Magento 1 until it is no longer responsible to do so. In this way, Vicus proactively keeps the webshop in order. It is a good alternative if switching to Magento 2 is not yet an option.

Not sticking to styles or preferences, but constantly trying to surprise and achieve the best result through different combinations. Just like building a DJ set, they also try to inspire our audience with all available ingredients. No rules, no limits, just their imagination.
