Vicus realized for Divoza Horseworld the link between Magento Enterprise and King Software Enterprise edition and implemented several improvements on the B2C webshop.
Automate
Divoza and Vicus have been linked since 2015. It all started with the maintenance of the Magento webshop. At a later stage it turned out that some things had to be automated. In any case, there had to be a link between Magento and King. This link was a challenge due to the high volume of mutations that had to be carried out.
Because Divoza has several branches in the Netherlands and stock levels are constantly updated, the available stock for online sales is constantly changing. This leads to an enormous volume of stock changes that need to be processed in the webshop. In addition, there are many mutations with regard to prices and articles (characteristics, images) to process.
From conversation to design
To make the web shop an optimal sales channel, several improvements have been made. To get off to a good start, an extensive preliminary investigation was carried out. This way everything could be mapped out properly. Among other things, we looked at:
- Functionality of the King link
- Stock movements
- Personalization of products (printing or embroidery)
- The possibilities of vouchers
After consulting with Divoza, Vicus could get to work with the results of the preliminary study. A step-by-step plan was made and piece by piece these steps were implemented. In this way, the optimal link between Magento and King was created.
In addition to King, Divoza's app is also linked to the Magento webshop. The app for both iOS and Android makes it even easier for horse lovers to order their products.
Because of the size, the number of updates and the number of visitors, the hosting of this webshop is hosted by Byte. A reliable partner of Vicus and they also have everything to support Magento webshops.
Work more flexibly
Vicus has realized a link between Magento and King through the VOSBA middleware. Because of this connection the processing of all data goes a lot smoother.
