Support Magento 1
This family business specializes in connections for the construction industry. They offer their wide range of products in their webshop. This runs within the Magento 1 environment. Due to expiring support on both Magento 1 and other parts within the webshop of Gebr. Bodegraven B.V. it was time to take action. In consultation with Vicus several scenarios were discussed and Gebr. Bodegraven B.V. has chosen the scenario that suits her best.
Vicus takes over management
After consulting with Gebr. Bodegraven B.V., Vicus made a plan of action. First of all a test migration was done to the environment of Vicus. This has been tested afterwards. When all was agreed the final migration was performed by us. The site could go live and the management is now in the hands of Vicus.
Secure Magento 1 environment
By using the Servicedesk Magento 1 plus package, Gebr. Bodegraven B.V. can continue to use the environment securely. Vicus will continue to support Magento 1 until it is no longer responsible to do so. It is a good alternative if switching to Magento 2 is not yet desired.
