MAAS International B.V. can continue to work with a Magento 1 web shop thanks to Vicus.
Permanent maintenance
MAAS International B.V. provides companies with coffee and tea, among other things. An essential part of every company. To keep doing that successfully, the necessary maintenance to the webshop is needed. The webshop of MAAS International B.V. is based on Magento 1. However, this version is no longer supported by the parent company of Magento. Vicus still provides this service.
What did Vicus do?
In general, the advice is to migrate a Magento 1 environment to Magento 2. To offer an intermediate solution we have a Service Desk Magento 1 Plus package. This includes that Vicus monitors the webshop and we intervene when necessary.
Before Vicus takes over a webshop, we do an extensive intake. This way we know exactly what we are getting into. This we have done at MAAS International B.V.. All necessary measures to keep everything as secure as possible are taken. The official Magento 1 patches are done by Vicus and after that the basic functions of the webshop are tested.
Staying in business with Magento 1
Vicus has taken over the hosting, providing digital storage space for the website with web shop. In addition, MAAS International B.V. gets all the support it needs to keep working with the Magento 1 environment. Thus, they can continue to work well with Magento 1 for the time being.
