Frond-end developer: Jelle!

Always nice to report good news. We are extremely happy that we were able to expand our team with new talent over the past few months. We will introduce these new employees to you one by one in the coming period. It is now Jelle's turn.

Something about Jelle:

"I am 37 years old and employed by Vicus since April. I was born in Amersfoort and live in Leusden. In the summer evenings you can meet me on the road bike. I have already cycled the Elfstedentocht 10 times. In addition, I discovered mountain biking in corona years and enjoy discovering all the beautiful trails in the Netherlands."

What did you do for this

"I really enjoy designing the best customer experiences together. Before becoming a front-end developer, I was responsible for the online results and marketing activities for various websites and web shops. Still, I noticed that technology attracted me the most and I started to specialize in this."

What your role within Vicus is/your expertise/unknown talent

"As a front-end developer, I work on the e-commerce team. I really enjoy performance optimization and user experiences that make a real impact for our customers. Fun fact: At age 12, I was already building websites with 20,000 visitors a day."

Would you also like to work at Vicus?

We work with Magento (since 2007) and Vtiger CRM (Since 2005) and integrate them to back-office systems such as Dynamics, King Software, Oculus and Exact.
