It's been over a year since we introduced the Magento 2 service desk plus subscription at Vicus. Adobe/Magento, meanwhile, has also been working with a schedule where they release updates periodically. The Magento update subscription is an excellent response to this.

More and more of our customers take out the subscription with us and experience the convenience. We take all the worries out of our customers' hands with this subscription. The subscription has many advantages:

  • Everything is automatic and customers no longer have to invest much time in it themselves.
  • At Vicus, we can schedule work when it is most convenient. Sometimes it is convenient to upgrade a specific customer earlier due to specific configuration, sometimes another customer.
  • In addition, we can schedule clients in increasing degrees of complexity. Any problems with the upgrade are then more manageable.
  • By scheduling the upgrades as a 'train', any issues from an earlier upgrade are still fresh in our minds and we can move on more quickly.

In short, this works much more efficiently than if we had to schedule each upgrade separately and therefore have a large spread of upgrades.

The process of tuning and planning and budgeting is skipped and saves everyone a lot of time. This allows you as a merchant to spend more time on the things you are good at! And it also saves in total hours to spend!
