Vtiger CRM captures data for often many users. Even if the users capture the same type of data, they may enter it differently from each other. You all recognize the irritation around phone numbers. Everyone enters these differently.
The Vtiger module for formatting input fields forces your users to be consistent when entering data into your CRM. For example, phone numbers, bank accounts and other contact information are entered uniformly.
Global operation:
- After installing the module, you will see a new item under Settings> Other Settings called Add additional field mask. After clicking on it, you can enter a new settings.
- A - represents a character from the alphabet (A-Z, a-z)
- 9 - represents a numeric character (0-9)
- * - represents an alphanumeric character (A-Z, a-z, 0-9)
