Central spam filter
Each form submitted is sent through the central spam filter. After checking, the form is given a spam score. This score determines whether the form is forwarded to Vtiger CRM or sent directly to the trash.
The Ip filter
Known senders (robots) are blocked based on ip number.
DDOS
Once the same source submits multiple forms within a short period of time, additional forms are flagged as spam.
Honeypot
The Vtiger form is provided with hidden fields. Thus, humans will not fill in these fields. Robots often do. the spam system filters out forms filled out by robots this way.
