Includes
- Standard installation and connection to Standard King and WooCommerce.
Benefits
- If you don't let Vicus build and/or maintain your WooCommerce webshop, you have to take into account extra costs for communication with the web builder and possible different ways of working.
Component 1: Woo2King: Linking King-WooCommerce - Basic
VOSBA KingSync integrates your WooCommerce webshop with King Business Software version Financial, Trade or Enterprise. VOSBA is the e-solutions middleware solution of Vicus. This is the basic connection. You also need specific modules for the parts (e.g. Articles, Debtors, Orders) you want to synchronize.
Points of interest:
- You will not be able to use your King installation for part of the day during the setup;
- Excluding (user) training, customization to WooCommerce, King or links and King software;
- Any additional functionality resulting from additional WooCommerce modules used in your situation or additional King modules will be budgeted separately.
Component 2: Woo2King: linking King-WooCommerce - Articles
Through this module from the Woo2King link, articles (standard 1 language) from King will be synchronized to your WooCommerce webshop. The article master data will normally be managed in King. Webcatalog specific product data (categories, configurable products, etc.) can be managed in WooCommerce.
Global Operation:
- you enter the category classification in your webshop yourself. In King you will get a free category on the article card; there you indicate in which category(s) the article should be shown in your webshop;
- manually add the items in King;
- During the next synchronization battle, the articles and the associated texts, images and attributes are sent from King to the webshop;
- stock is synchronized from King to WooCommerce;
- then any changes made to an article in King are sent to WooCommerce.
Known limitations:
- King has by default two (2) images per article that are sent to the webshop (advice: jpg format, size max 800x600 pixels, size max 100kb per image) from King to the webshop;
- The creation and deletion of categories is not supported via the link (the possible failure to display an empty category is the responsibility of the web builder);
- The WooCommerce-King link only supports main products, no relationship between products (called related products), no variations, no follow articles, no article bundles;
- the link does not remove items from WooCommerce.
- note! in the synchronization software of King there is a parameter set that images from a certain size (e.g. 350kb) are not forwarded;
If ready2go workshop is purchased then the following will be performed by Vicus as part of the ready2go. Without ready2go, this work will be performed on an after-the-fact basis.
- create 1 reference product needed for the link to work for that type of product;
- Create custom fields for the reference product (up to 5) in King;
- for the reference product (up to 5) custom fields in WooCommerce to the fields in King to link (map), the fields in WooCommerce are created by yourself or your web builder;
Component 3: Woo2King: linking King-WooCommerce - Orders
New web orders are transferred from WooCommerce to King when they reach the set status.
Characteristics:
- the order is linked to contact person and the related organization (see debtors link);
- VAT amounts from WooCommerce are stored as VAT amounts in the King order; the link only has support for VAT individually on the product lines (0, 9, 21) 0 thereby stands for Intra EU, 0%, 0 outside EU;
- with iDeal as the payment method, the sales order is recorded in King as 'paid';.
Includes:
- Payment method iDEAL and on invoice; the payment method must be set up in the webshop.
Points of interest:
- the order status is not passed from King to WooCommerce;
- only 100% payment via iDEAL or afterwards via invoice to be sent; partial payments are not supported;
- Duplicates can arise in organizations and contact persons. After all, it is not always possible to make a conclusive match based on the contact person's e-mail address alone;
- Sending invoices cannot be fully automated. There will first have to be a check that no duplicate customer (debtor) has been created in King, then manual deduplication (organization, contact);
- Automatically (after checking Debtor and Order) send invoice from King, in same number range as normal invoices. Invoicing will proceed the same as the normal invoice flow; i.e. invoices are thus created in King from an order.
Component 4: Woo2King: linking King-WooCommerce - Accounts receivable
New customers from WooCommerce are created in King when placing the first order; As customer identification, the WooCommerceId is included in the King card of the Contact (webshop login is based on contact).
Characteristics:
- existing customers are not created from King as a WooCommerce login account;
- when the field 'company' is filled in WooCommerce then an organization and a contact will be created in King (Business debtor) otherwise only the contact (private debtor) will be created in King;
- when the contact person already exists in King at the debtor found then the weborder can be added to that, the King debtor number/contact person number is leading. If no contact can be found then a new debtor/contact person is created in King;
- The King debit number is returned to WooCommerce.
Remark:
- The Web Builder must create the 'King-debiteurnr' and 'King-contact' fields on the login account and make them readable and writable via the API. These fields are populated by the link. This information must also be included in the order via the API when our link requests the order via the API.
