Selling online through your own webshop is often not enough. Customers are increasingly looking for products on large platforms such as Bol.com, Amazon, Kaufland or Marktplaats. To be truly successful in e-commerce, a multichannel strategy is essential. But how do you make sure that your webshop connects well with all those different sales channels, without losing yourself in a tangle of manual work? At Vicus we have the solution: a seamless link via Channable.
Why choose multichannel sales?
It is impossible to imagine the e-commerce world without marketplaces. In our article about the largest online marketplaces in the world, you can read why a presence on these platforms is not only convenient, but strategically necessary. By publishing your products on multiple channels, you increase your reach, turnover and visibility.
But multichannel also brings challenges: how do you keep your stock in sync? How do you process orders from different sources without errors? How do you ensure consistent product information? That's where Channable and its integration with Magento and your ERP system make all the difference.
More reach = more visitors = more customers

By linking your webshop to multiple marketplaces, you increase your visibility enormously. This means more visitors to your product pages - not only in your own webshop, but also on external sales channels such as Bol.com and Amazon. And more reach means more chance that an interested visitor will actually become a customer.
Deploying marketplaces through Channable therefore fits seamlessly with the first phase in our proven strategy to go from passerby to customer: the "Coming" phase. This phase is all about findability, reach and attracting new visitors. Read more about how to do that in our article:
The role of Channable as feed manager
Channable is a powerful tool for distributing your Magento products easily and intelligently to various marketplaces. Think Bol.com, Kaufland, Amazon NL/BE and many more. In our partner page on Channable, we explain why we enjoy working with this party.
We support both webshops managed at Vicus and shops running elsewhere. Examples of successful projects:
- A Magento shop linked to King, with Vicus taking care of order processing.
- A Magento webshop managed by us, linked to Bol.com and Exact via Channable.
Our years of experience with Magento links and the use of our VOSBA middleware enable us to tackle complex multichannel projects in a structured way.
This is what a Channable integration project looks like
Step 1: Choosing channels
You select the marketplaces you want to be active on and complete the registration process yourself. Think carefully about the language, logistical requirements and VAT rules per country.
Step 2: Setting up Channable
You start with a trial account. For a basic configuration you need the following:
- Channable Core (from €59 p/m)
- Channel link (€30 p/m per channel)
- Order link (€49 p/m per channel)
For two channels this means approximately €187 per month. During the trial period (unlimited validity as long as you do not go live) you can prepare your settings calmly.
Note: costs as of July 2025, check the current costs via this link (Channable website).
Step 3: Link Magento

We install the free Channable plugin in your Magento webshop. Product data and orders are automatically synchronized. Missing mandatory fields can be completed with extra attributes. Orders from the marketplaces become visible in your backend, including return information and shipping status.
Step 4: Linking with your ERP system
Are you working with an ERP system (e.g. King) and do you have an existing Vicus connection? Then we extend the link so that order information, Track & Trace and new customer data are processed correctly. Think about:
- One debtor per marketplace (or create a new debtor per order)
- Export of Track & Trace from ERP and processing in Magento
- Automatically send this data to the channel via Channable
Step 5: Points of attention
- Multilingualism: Amazon.de requires German product texts (AI translation possible).
- Invoicing is often done via ERP; emails come from the channel itself.
- Do you use fulfillment partners like Monta? Make sure they keep reporting back Track & Trace.
- VAT settings for foreign sales require extra attention.
What does it cost to implement Channable?
For an average implementation, we count on two days of work per channel. The costs consist of:
- Setup costs for Magento, ERP and the link
- Monthly fee for Channable
- Possible extensions such as invoice personalization, multilingual content or extra debtor structures
Exclusive: Implementation and/or customization of the links.
